Live tracking: locations of tall ships

This page generates background maps for use with COAA's AIS software ShipPlotter. For more information on AIS, see our AIS information page.

You must save the both the map and the calibration points file. Choose your own name for the image, e.g. "Gibraltar". Save the image map as "gibraltar.jpg", and save the calibration file as "gibraltar.clb". Place both files in the "Chart" folder of oruy ShipPlotter installation, probably in "C:\Program files\COAA\ShipPlotter".

To save these files on MS-Windows, right click on the links and select "Save Target As" and then point to the chart file directory. In the case of the .clb file, choose "All files" in the file save dialog; otherwise the system will save the calibration file with the .txt extension.
